NEW YEARS DAY ICE DIVE

While the rest of the world was recovering from celebrating the new year's arrival, these hardy divers where getting in their first dive of the new year.  Divers from Billings, Bozeman, Helena & Dillon congregated at Hilite Reservoir, south of Bozeman for the first dip of the new year.  Some of the divers already had the Ice Diving Specialty, others where getting their first taste of ice diving.

The PADI Ice Diving Specialty teaches divers how to manage a dive in an overhead environment.
