Who would of guessed the wonders to be found in Puget Sound in the Seattle area. There are lots of locations that you can shore dive from or join a dive boat for the day. 
 A popular site is at the Edmonds Underwater Park, Edmonds WA.  The park has been developed with divers in mind.  You will find a variety of fish and sea life.  Some big critter
hang out at Edmonds, as it is a protected marine life preserve.
