MEET THE STAFF OF ADVENTURE SCUBA

The Staff of Adventure Scuba are diving enthusiasts as well as dive professionals.  They work as a team to offer our clients the best diving experience they can, whether it is on a local dive weekend or on an exotic trip.  They are available to help you with all aspects of diving- education, gear selection, travel and dive safety.  They look forward to seeing you underwater!

DAVE BAKKER

Dave has been introducing divers to the underwater world since 1997.  He is also an avid underwater videographer.  If you have been on one of the Adventure Scuba trips, you will probably see yourself!

As a PADI Staff Instructor, Dave teaches all levels of diving up to PADI Assistant Instructor.  He also teaches a variety of PADI Specialties, including:  Night, Deep, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Photographer, Project Aware, Underwater Videographer, Enriched Air, Boat, Altitude, Equipment Specialist, Dry Suit, Drift Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, & National Geographic. He also is an Emergency First Responder Instructor.
 

MANDY GLOVER

Retail Sales & Instructor

Mandy is the first person many people meet when they come into Adventure Scuba.   She works at the store during the week and is on our teaching staff.  Her enthusiasm for the underwater world is infectious! 

Mandy teaches all levels of diving up to Divemaster.  She teaches the following specialties:  Night, Deep, Underwater Navigation, Enriched Air, Altitude, Project Aware, Dry Suit, Peak Performance Buoyancy and National Geographic.  Mandy conducts Scuba Reviews, Bubblemaker parties, Discover Scuba Experiences and Seal Team.
 
BRANDON GLOVER

Brandon is the head of the "Let's Go Diving" club-  always looking for a buddy to head to the lake with. He enjoys underwater photography as well as spear fishing.    He assists with all levels of training.  As a PADI Divemaster, he also offers Scuba Reviews, Discover Scuba experiences as well as Discover Local Diving experiences.
 

DEBBIE HUST

Debbie has been diving for several years- she just finally turned in her parachute for a scuba tank!  She has discovered that sky diving and scuba diving are both thrilling.

As well as being a PADI Divemaster, Debbie also has the PADI Master Diver Rating.  She enjoys helping new divers in classes.  She also conducts Scuba Reviews and Discover Scuba Experiences.

Randy was introduced to diving in 1999. From that moment he was hooked and decided to get his whole family certified! He says that having the daughters underwater is “blissful silence” & worth every minute together diving!!!  J
Randy teaches Open Water Scuba Classes, Advanced, Rescue, Dive Master & several specialties including: Deep, Altitude, Wreck, Enriched Air, Night, Underwater Navigation, Drift, Underwater Naturalist, Project Aware, & Peak Performance Buoyancy.  In addition he also teaches Emergency First Responder.

Instructor, Dive Travel Coordinator & Group Leader, Owner of R & R Scuba School & Dive Travel, Travelers Spanish class (coming soon).
Ruetta became a diver in 2000 with the “family dive plan”…Either dive or stay on the beach alone…so she went diving!!  She says diving is the greatest family activity & is waiting to teach the next generation.
Ruetta teaches Open Water scuba classes, Advanced, Rescue, Dive Master, Emergency First Response, Project Aware, Peak Performance Buoyancy & conducts Scuba Reviews.  She loves taking people to new places to experience the culture & the underwater world!!

CAROLYN BAKKER

Carolyn started diving in 1995- Dave had gotten certified and was having a blast.  So, instead of being stuck on the beach, she dove in.  Little did she realize that learning to dive would change her life and lifestyle!  She holds various recreational scuba ratings and enjoys underwater photography.

Carolyn is is the Adventure Scuba Travel Specialist.  She organizes the group trips as well as  assists divers in planning and booking individual trips.
